Trouble shooting Lane Control Card
Leds flashing,
Step 1
Flashing red and green means your software is not communicating with the card, check com port setting on board and in software make sure they match, also check Irq on board and in software to make sure they match
Step 2.
Flashing leds - green solid, red flashing just a tickle, no yellow lite flashing, you do not have comms with the scorers, via receive to the board, in computer, check that interface plug is in all the way on the back of the card, check plug interface from crossover cable to the existing scoring network wires is connected, if all of the above is met you should have comms.
Step 3
Flashing leds - no comms but everything in step 2 is correct or good then, Check software scorer selection in software setup, make sure it is set for your type scoring and your exact version of firmware, should be marked on your scoring board on the eproms with tags, Read the version numbers on them.
Step 4
If software gives you errors when you try to start the program you must reinstall the software, set up your configuration file and all should work accordingly.
