Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship Applications
Two students from North Dakota could receive this scholarship this year. We just need to get students to apply.
To be eligible the student must
be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident
have a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale
be between the ages of 15 and 18 by the start of the program (July, 2008)
No previous study of German is required.
If you think you know of a student who would be a good representative of North Dakota and the United States, please let them know about this scholarship opportunity.
I will have applications available in Minot next week.
If you are not going to Minot but would like to get an application, please let me know. Also check with your school guidance counselor to see if they have received any applications.
Last year we had ONE eligible applicant from North Dakota. I would like to see at least 10 from North Dakota compete for this scholarship. With your help we can perhaps get more applicants.
The interview process will take place in Grand Forks on Saturday, 9 February 2008.
