Quality Units

Quality Units are a measure of success in Scouting. Unit Commissioners should be working to see that all their units are Quality Units. To be a Quality District, at least 60% of the units in a district have to be Quality Units. To be a Quality Council, at least 60% of the units in a council have to be Quality Units. Our goal this year is to hit 60% Quality Units in every District and in the Council by November.

Recruiting new Scouts

Commssioners need to make sure units are engaging in aggressive recruiting, and are following through with new members.

A Cub Scout camp by 2006

Northern Lights Council President Craig Larson is spearheading the effort to make the separate Cub Scout camp at Camp Wilderness a reality. Concerted fund raising is underway and dramatic progress has been made. Dedication of the new facility is set for the 60th Anniversary of Camp Wilderness in 2006.
